Mandaluyong City, The Philippine Islands – “That was one helluva party!”, recalls Island Rock Entertainment (IRE) Creative Producer, Allen Alesna. February 12, 2010 was an anticipatory event for the coming Hearts Day & Chinese New Year. IRE decided to tie up with a brand new restobar in Pioneer Street called for the road. What IRE envisioned was a simple night of music and drinks just to help everybody cool down after a long workweek. 
The series dubbed as City Rhythms turned out to be a massive party. Because the place was so packed, some of the band members had to enjoy their drinks at a nearby parked pickup truck.
"I can't remember the last time I had a party this fun and this relaxing at the same time. Reminds me of the old days when we lived outside the big city. Now all we need is a beach", commented IRE Producer, Mark Robert Dy.______City Rhythms is a series of jam sessions where independent artists are able to express their music at a more relaxed pace.The 2010.02.12 show featured independent artists Black Summer, Semaphore, Speakeasy, Shelterr, Make Out with Belle & Sundown Caffeine.
